The Winedrinkers - Accommodation - Carterton

The Winedrinkers offer two types of accommodation.

1. A fully self contained Cottage, private, with two double bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom and lounge.

2. A private room in the Winedrinkers Homestay.

Less than 5 minutes from Carterton and Greytown, The Winedrinkers place offers a chance for you to relax from "the busy life".

The Cottage:

The Cottage has a deck, just right for sitting on in the evenings, glass of wine in hand and views to the hills.

It is fully self contained, we provide linen and the basics you require for a short or long stay.

Behind the high hedge that gives you all the privacy you may require, are two lounge chairs plonked in the paddock ready for you to lie back on and gaze at the very special Wairarapa sky.

Our Cottage is not posh or fancy, however, its got everything you need with Sky TV, great wine glasses, heaps of books with a reading nook, warmth and lots of light and plenty of room to park.

The Room:

Situated at the Main house, the Winedrinkers room is perfect for the single traveler or a couple.

You get a queen size bedroom, a private bathroom with shower, toilet and separate bath.

We provide free wifi, the odd complimentary glass of wine and someone to chat to if you need advice or just feel like company.

All linen is also supplied.

The kitchen and living areas are shared with us but we try and fit in with your schedule as much as we can.

We charge $160 per night for the Cottage and $80 for the room in the house.

Please phone us on 027-2102476 to arrange your booking.

In Wairarapa you will enjoy some stunning Coastline, Light houses, seals lying around on the rocks and whitebait fritters at Lake Ferry.

Sadly we do not have wheelchair access yet but we are working on it.

Some activities around
